Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive MRI technique that can measure liver fat, fatty acid makeup, and fibrosis (scarring) all in a single breath-hold of less than 14 seconds. It aims to provide a safer alternative to liver biopsy for diagnosing non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), a serious liver condition. The study will enroll 120 people with fatty liver disease and 20 healthy volunteers to see how well the new method works compared to standard biopsy results.
