Quick scan could replace risky heart catheter tests

NCT ID NCT07222813

Summary

This study is testing whether a quick, non-invasive liver scan can accurately detect high pressure in the heart. It aims to provide a safer alternative to the current invasive catheter procedure, which carries risks like bleeding and infection. The study will enroll 149 adults with heart failure who are already scheduled for the standard catheter test.
