Yale tests 'touch' device to replace needles for heart pressure checks
NCT ID NCT07226479
Summary
This study is testing a new device that measures pressure in the heart's main veins without using needles. It will be tried on 40 patients in the cardiac intensive care unit to see if it's safe and gives readings as accurate as the current needle method. The goal is to find a less invasive way to monitor patients who are critically ill with heart problems.
