NCT ID NCT06209645

First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to treat nerve pain that doesn't respond to medication. It uses a non-invasive technique called tACS that delivers a gentle electric current to the brain at a frequency matching the patient's own brain waves. The goal is to see if this personalized approach works better than standard stimulation or a placebo. The trial will enroll 50 adults with drug-resistant neuropathic pain.
