Headband could spot brain emergencies without surgery
NCT ID NCT07210333
Summary
This study aims to test if a non-invasive headband sensor can accurately detect dangerous pressure inside the skull in emergency patients with traumatic brain injury or stroke. It will involve 300 adult patients in Brazil's public health system to see if the device can help doctors make faster, better decisions without needing risky invasive procedures. The goal is to improve early detection and reduce costs in emergency care.
