Eye scan could replace risky brain pressure tests
NCT ID NCT07286396
Summary
This study aims to see if a simple, painless ultrasound scan of the eye can accurately measure pressure inside the skull (intracranial pressure) in people with brain tumors. Researchers will test 60 adult patients before and after their tumor removal surgery to see if this non-invasive method works as well as current, more invasive techniques. The goal is to find a safer, easier way to monitor a serious complication without needing risky procedures.
