New Pin-Sized device aims to replace risky brain pressure surgery
NCT ID NCT07113353
Summary
This study aims to learn more about a new, non-invasive device that measures pressure inside the skull. Currently, measuring this pressure requires drilling a small hole in the skull. Researchers will test the new device, which uses a tiny pin on the head, on 30 adult patients who are already receiving standard treatments to adjust brain pressure. The goal is to see how the device's readings change during these treatments to make it more useful for doctors.
