Silent attacks in NMOSD: new study aims to predict disability before it strikes

NCT ID NCT07526298

First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026

Summary

This study follows 50 adults with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) who appear stable on standard treatment. Researchers will use blood tests and MRI scans to look for signs of hidden damage that could predict future relapses or disability. The goal is to better understand the disease and improve monitoring, not to test a new treatment.
