Can a Vitamin-Like pill protect hearts during bypass surgery?
NCT ID NCT07013591
Summary
This study is testing whether a supplement called NMN can help protect the heart and kidneys during and after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. Researchers will give NMN or a placebo to 90 adults before and after their scheduled heart surgery to see if it reduces tissue damage. The main goal is to measure levels of a key energy molecule in heart tissue and check markers of injury after the operation.
