Summary

This study tests whether taking nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), a natural compound, before and after heart bypass surgery can reduce damage to the heart and kidneys. About 90 adults at higher risk for complications will receive either NMN or a placebo. The goal is to see if NMN boosts energy levels in heart cells and lowers injury markers after surgery.
