Simple blood test may spot hidden artery disease in dialysis patients
NCT ID NCT07179211
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 41 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple blood test called the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) can help detect peripheral artery disease (PAD) in people on regular kidney dialysis. About 120 adult dialysis patients will be checked for PAD and have their NLR measured. The goal is to see if NLR can be a cheap, easy way to find PAD early and guide treatment.
