Engineered immune cells take on Drug-Resistant lung cancer in first human trial
NCT ID NCT06097962
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This early-phase study tests a new cell therapy called NK510 in 12 people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that no longer responds to PD-1 inhibitors. The treatment uses specially designed natural killer cells that are blocked from a protein called TIGIT, aiming to boost the immune system's attack on tumors. Participants receive the cells either through a vein or directly into the chest cavity if they have fluid buildup. The main goals are to check safety and see if tumors shrink.
