New 'Supercharged' immune cells tested against tough ovarian cancer

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new type of treatment for ovarian cancer that has come back and stopped responding to standard platinum-based chemotherapy. Researchers are collecting a patient's own immune cells, boosting them in a lab to create 'memory-like' natural killer (NK) cells, and then infusing them back into the abdomen. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if this approach can help control the cancer.
