New hope for kids with tough leukemia: supercharged immune cells tested

NCT ID NCT07256210

Summary

This study is testing a new therapy for children and young adults with acute leukemia that has not responded well to standard chemotherapy. The treatment involves giving patients special immune cells, called NK cells, from a donor before and after a stem cell transplant. The main goals are to see if this combined approach is safe and can help prevent the cancer from coming back.
