Double immune attack: new cell combo targets tough childhood cancers

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new treatment for children and young adults with osteosarcoma or neuroblastoma that has returned or not responded to standard therapy. The treatment combines two types of genetically modified immune cells: NK cells designed to fight the tumor environment and T cells that target a protein called GD2 on cancer cells. The goal is to find a safe dose and see if the cells can shrink tumors. About 27 participants will be enrolled.
