NCT ID NCT05672381
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested a new imaging method that uses light and a dye to see blood flow in muscles. The goal was to find out if it can help doctors diagnose acute compartment syndrome—a dangerous condition where pressure builds up in muscles after a severe injury. 15 adults with suspected compartment syndrome took part. The approach is still experimental, but could lead to faster, more accurate diagnosis and prevent muscle damage.
