New drug tested for rare tumors in young women

Summary

This study tests the drug nirogacestat in 50 premenopausal women (ages 18-40) with desmoid tumors, a rare type of non-cancerous growth. The main goal is to see how the drug affects ovarian function and to monitor any side effects. Participants will take the drug and be followed for changes in menstrual cycles and hormone levels.
