Summary

This study looked at how much of the COVID-19 treatment nirmatrelvir/ritonavir (Paxlovid) passes into breast milk. Eight healthy breastfeeding women took the medicine by mouth three times over two days. Researchers collected breast milk samples to measure drug levels and check safety. The goal is to help doctors give better advice to breastfeeding mothers who need this treatment.
