Sleep drug tested to stop 'Suicide Headaches' that strike at night

Summary

This study aims to see if a medication called low sodium oxybate (brand name Xywav), taken twice nightly, can safely reduce how often severe nighttime cluster headaches occur. It will involve 52 adults with chronic cluster headache who experience at least four attacks per week during sleep. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the active drug or a placebo for 16 weeks to compare results.
