Scientists probe why blood pressure stays high at night

NCT ID NCT03598894

Summary

This study aims to better understand a condition called 'non-dipping hypertension,' where a person's blood pressure doesn't drop at night as it normally should. Researchers are enrolling 150 adults with high blood pressure to track their daily patterns using wearable devices and smartphone apps. The goal is to gather detailed information about this condition to help guide future treatments, not to test a new treatment directly.
