Sleepless nights may cloud Radiologists' vision and focus
NCT ID NCT07192380
Summary
This study aims to understand how working a night shift and losing sleep affects emergency radiologists. Researchers will measure eye movements, brain activity, and diagnostic accuracy in 40 radiologists after a night shift and after a normal night's rest. The goal is to see if fatigue from shift work changes how radiologists search images and make diagnoses, which could help improve workplace safety and scheduling.
