New NICU therapy aims to ease parent stress and boost baby development

NCT ID NCT06927037

Summary

This study is testing different ways to deliver physical therapy in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to see which method works best. It aims to help parents feel less stressed and more confident in caring for their very premature babies, while also supporting the infants' motor skill development. Researchers will compare a new, more involved therapy model to the current standard care by observing 150 families over time.
