Can nicotine gum or vapes help smokers quit for good?
NCT ID NCT06554873
Summary
This study tested whether smokers who quickly cut their smoking in half using nicotine products like gum, patches, or e-cigarettes could keep using these alternatives to stay smoke-free or smoke less for six months. It involved 150 adult smokers who smoked at least 10 cigarettes a day. The goal was to see if switching to these less harmful nicotine sources could be a long-term strategy to control smoking habits.
