First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether reducing nicotine in filtered little cigars changes how people smoke them and affects their lungs. About 50 adults who regularly smoke little cigars will attend three 4-hour visits at Ohio State University. They will fill out surveys, give blood samples, do breathing tests, and smoke their own cigars or study cigars. The goal is to see if low-nicotine cigars lead to less smoking and fewer health risks.
