Summary

This study looks at whether nicotine patches can improve mood and thinking in older adults (60+) with depression. Researchers believe nicotine may help the brain's control center work better. 60 participants will receive either a nicotine patch or a placebo patch for 12 weeks, and their mood and brain function will be measured.
