Summary
This study tests whether a vitamin B3 supplement called nicotinamide riboside can improve walking ability in adults with mitochondrial myopathy, a rare muscle disorder. About 34 participants will receive either the supplement or a placebo for a period, and their walking distance over six minutes will be measured. The goal is to see if this simple supplement can ease symptoms and improve daily function.
