Can a collagen drink tame your breakfast blood sugar spike?
NCT ID NCT07174323
Summary
This study is testing if a supplement called Nextida-GC, made from collagen, can help control blood sugar spikes after a meal better than a common protein supplement (whey). Researchers are enrolling 32 healthy adults, some with prediabetes, to see if taking these supplements 30 minutes before, 10 minutes before, or with a meal makes a difference. The main goal is to find the best timing and supplement to reduce the overall rise in blood sugar after eating.
