Summary

This study aims to see if Nexium (esomeprazole) can safely keep erosive esophagitis healed in children aged 1 to 11. It will compare two different doses over 16 weeks to see which better prevents the painful stomach acid damage from returning. The goal is to provide ongoing control of this condition in young patients who have already healed from it.
