New drug combo trial aims to control rare blood cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of three drugs—pirtobrutinib, venetoclax, and rituximab—can effectively treat people newly diagnosed with Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, a rare blood cancer. The treatment is given for a limited time rather than continuously. Researchers will enroll 40 participants to measure how well the cancer responds to this approach.
