Summary
This study is testing a new weekly injection called HDM1005 to see if it helps people lose weight and improve related health issues like high blood pressure. About 825 Chinese adults who are overweight or have obesity, but do not have diabetes, will receive the injection or a placebo for one year alongside lifestyle counseling. The main goal is to measure how much body weight participants lose and how many achieve significant weight reduction.
