Summary
This study is testing whether a new weekly injection called HDM1005 helps people with obesity or overweight lose weight and improve related health problems like high blood pressure. About 825 Chinese adults without diabetes will receive either the drug or a placebo for one year, along with diet and exercise advice. The main goal is to see how much body weight participants lose and how many achieve significant weight reduction.
