New weekly diabetes shot aims to beat leading treatment
NCT ID NCT07156539
Summary
This study compares a new weekly injection called HS-20094 against an established diabetes medication (dulaglutide) in people with type 2 diabetes. About 546 participants whose blood sugar isn't well controlled on metformin, with or without another common pill, will receive one of the weekly injections for nearly a year. Researchers will measure which drug better lowers blood sugar (HbA1c) and body weight over 44 and 52 weeks.
