Tablets and VR headsets could revolutionize how we test vision in clinical trials

NCT ID NCT07489898

Summary

This study aims to test whether new technology-based tools, like tablets and virtual reality headsets, can better measure the real-world vision problems experienced by people with neurodegenerative eye diseases. Fifty participants will try these new tests to see if they are practical and if the results match patients' daily experiences better than traditional eye charts. The goal is to improve how vision is measured in future clinical trials so treatments can be evaluated based on what matters most to patients.
