Gentle swab could revolutionize early detection of 'Silent' gynecologic cancers

NCT ID NCT07429799

Summary

This study is testing a new, more comfortable vaginal swab device to see if it can detect early signs of ovarian and endometrial cancer. Researchers will collect samples from 300 women attending gynecology clinics, including some with cancer and some without, to look for biological markers. The goal is to develop a less invasive way to find these cancers earlier, which could reduce the need for more painful procedures.
