Scientists use High-Tech ultrasound to map healthy blood vessels
NCT ID NCT06841887
Summary
This study aims to develop and test new, advanced ultrasound scanning methods specifically for imaging blood vessels in the arm and neck that supply the brain. Researchers will scan 60 healthy volunteers to collect detailed measurements and establish normal reference ranges for vessel size, blood flow, and wall stiffness. The goal is to create better tools for future research and for comparing these measurements in patients with kidney or brain diseases.
