Surgeons test 'Live' imaging to pinpoint elusive brain tumors
NCT ID NCT07335315
Summary
This study is testing a new ultrasound imaging technique used during surgery to help surgeons better see and remove pituitary tumors. The goal is to more accurately identify the tumor tissue while leaving healthy pituitary tissue alone, which could lead to better surgical results. The study will enroll 110 patients at Mayo Clinic who need surgery for Cushing's disease or other pituitary tumors.
