New hope for ulcerative colitis patients Who've tried everything else

NCT ID NCT06636656

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called BI 3032950 for adults with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis who haven't gotten better with other treatments. Participants first receive the drug through an IV every 4 weeks for 12 weeks, then switch to under-the-skin injections for up to 2 years if they respond. The goal is to see if the drug can reduce symptoms and improve gut health.
