New hope for Tough-to-Treat bowel disease

Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called ALTB-268 for adults with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis (UC) whose disease has not improved with at least one other advanced biologic therapy. About 50 participants will receive weekly injections of ALTB-268 for 12 weeks, followed by less frequent injections for up to a year, to see if it reduces bowel inflammation and symptoms. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and helps people feel better by week 12.
