Could a pill help tame type 1 diabetes?

NCT ID NCT07186660

Summary

This study is testing whether a new oral drug, CIR-0602K, can help adults with type 1 diabetes who use automated insulin pumps. Researchers want to see if the drug helps people spend more time in a healthy blood sugar range and reduces the total amount of insulin they need each day. Participants will take either the study drug or a placebo pill for 12 weeks while continuing their normal insulin pump therapy.
