New Triple-Threat drug combo aims to tame stubborn diabetes
NCT ID NCT06290349
Summary
This study is testing if adding a new drug called DA5221-T to two existing diabetes medications helps people with type 2 diabetes who still have high blood sugar. About 174 adults who are already taking the two-drug combo will receive either the new triple therapy or a placebo for 24 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in long-term blood sugar levels (HbA1c), weight, and safety to see if the three drugs together work better.
