Tailored therapy trial aims to control Tough-to-Treat esophageal cancer
NCT ID NCT06452602
Summary
This study is testing a personalized treatment plan for people with advanced, inoperable esophageal cancer. It first uses a combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy to see how the cancer responds. Based on that response, patients then receive a tailored follow-up treatment that may include radiation and more therapy, with some patients continuing immunotherapy for up to a year. The goal is to better control the cancer and help patients live longer without it getting worse.
