Summary

This study tested whether a new thyroid hormone therapy called North Star could safely replace standard levothyroxine treatment. Researchers enrolled 303 adults with hypothyroidism who were already doing well on their current medication. The goal was to see if switching to North Star could maintain normal thyroid hormone levels with a different dosing approach.
