Zapping thyroid tumors: new trial tests Non-Surgical cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07218315
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-surgical procedure called nanosecond pulsed field ablation (nsPFA) for treating small thyroid cancers. Doctors will use ultrasound to guide tiny electrical pulses to target and destroy cancer cells in the thyroid. The main goals are to see if this method safely shrinks tumors and improves patients' quality of life compared to traditional surgery.
