Summary
This study tested a new type of PET scan to see if it could find returning or spreading thyroid cancer more effectively than standard scans. It involved 149 adults with a history of thyroid cancer who received both the new scan and standard imaging. The main goal was to compare how sensitive the new scan was at detecting cancer in patients.
