New thermometer aims for more accurate hospital readings
NCT ID NCT07432269
Summary
This study aims to see if a new type of forehead thermometer (the XST600) is as accurate and safe as a standard hospital thermometer (the 3M SpotOn) for monitoring patients' core body temperature. It will involve 117 adult patients in the operating room or intensive care unit who need their temperature checked. Researchers will compare readings from both devices to see how well the new one performs.
