Gentle touch therapy trial offers new hope for dangerous pregnancy condition

NCT ID NCT06953115

Summary

This study is testing if a specific type of physical therapy, which involves gentle pressure on certain points of the body, can help control high blood pressure in pregnant women diagnosed with preeclampsia. The therapy aims to calm the nervous system and is given alongside standard blood pressure medication. Researchers will compare the health of mothers and babies in two groups to see if the added therapy provides better results.
