Doctors map new paths for pelvic pain relief
NCT ID NCT04146194
Summary
This study aimed to understand how doctors use newer therapies—like special lights, lasers, radio waves, and injections—to treat women's pelvic and perineal conditions when standard medical treatments don't work well enough. Researchers observed 173 women with conditions like chronic pain, incontinence, or scarring to see which therapies were chosen for which problems and what the results were. The goal was to gather real-world information to help create future treatment guidelines, not to test a new cure.
