Scientists hunt for better ways to spot mysterious muscle pain
NCT ID NCT05793086
Summary
This study is testing three new technologies to help doctors better diagnose myofascial pain syndrome, a common type of muscle pain. Researchers will compare measurements from 90 people with this condition to healthy volunteers, focusing on the neck and shoulder muscles. The goal is to see if these tools can reliably detect the muscle changes that cause this pain.
