Summary

This large, late-stage study is testing whether a new vaccine can prevent people from getting tuberculosis (TB). It will enroll over 20,000 healthy adolescents and adults, including people living with HIV, to see if the vaccine is safe and effective. Participants will receive two shots or a placebo and be monitored to see if the vaccine reduces the number of TB cases.
