First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This trial tests new drug combinations to treat pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) faster than the standard 24-week treatment. About 2500 adults with TB will receive one of 11 combinations including two new drugs, BTZ-043 and GSK3036656, for 8 to 16 weeks. The goal is to find a safe, effective, and shorter treatment that could also work for drug-resistant TB.
